The Armor of God
Ephesians 6:10-18 describes spiritual life as armor for a real fight, piece by piece. Each entry below is the verse introducing one piece, in the order Paul lists them.
Belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness
Shoes of the gospel of peace
Helmet of salvation, sword of the Spirit
The sword is identified explicitly: "the word of God."

Often treated as the final, easy-to-miss piece — prayer that accompanies all the rest.
