Messianic Prophecies Fulfilled in Jesus

Centuries before his birth, the Hebrew Scriptures described a coming Messiah in specific detail — where he'd be born, how he'd die, what would be done to him. Popular lists often cite "300+" such prophecies; that figure comes from counting every verse touching a Messianic theme, including typology. This list keeps to the strongest tier — direct quotations or very well-established pairings, each a single verse on both sides. Follow either link to compare it across translations and see the original Hebrew or Greek.
